Early last spring I enlisted Catherine's help in order to creatively and cohesively envision my kitchen renovation. Although I had a simple grasp of the project; wanting to bring light, freshness and warmth to my dated 80's pink and grey kitchen and neighbouring family room, I needed help to ensure that I had a clear vision of all changes and details required before proceeding with the project.
Catherine guided my choice of colours, helping to unite the first floor by creating a visual colour flow from room to room. And, because my family loves to chat while working together in the kitchen, she suggesting removing the wall separating the kitchen and family room. This allowed room for a large island where we could cook, sit and chat.
Together we chose paint colours and accent colours to help me in the selection of tiles, hardware, fireplace tiles and other accent colours that were pulled from a favourite carpet and surrounding rooms. The result: a project that flows warmly and cohesively from room to room.
I had an idea, Catherine's design skills pulled it together.
