Biography
Catherine Kennedy is a design consultant specializing in residential curb appeal. With 15 years+ landscape design experience, she has provided hundreds of homeowners with horticultural advice, design and plant ideas specific to their gardens.
Catherine has an Associate of Arts in Graphic & Visual Design from Kwantlen Polytechnic University as well as a Horticulture Citation Specialty in Landscape Design.
She has additional credentials in home redesign, real estate staging and colour consulting. These talents have become Trio Design; a one-of-a-kind curb appeal and home improvement design consultation service. Whether a client needs colour, landscape or staging advice to sell or enhance the home they love: she can provide prompt, practical solutions to help maximize their property's best first impression.
Catherine is also known for her work with BC Communities in Bloom, an organization that provides a framework for community enhancement through horticultural and environmental evaluation criteria to municipalities across the province.
Upon occasion in the spring, you may find Catherine helping out at Art’s Nursery in Surrey. Her best moments are when a customer comes into the garden centre with a plant identification question and they start off by describing the plant as “it has green leaves…” and then she finds them the exact plant they were looking for!
